[edit] Where do Progressives Stand?

Wisconsin is currently facing a budget shortfall of $652 million because of a delay in passing the state budget in 2007. A budget repair bill in the state legislature is currently under review, but has yet to pass, threatening to delay aid payments to school districts, local governments, and other Wisconsin programs with no other sources of revenue.

Progressives should advocate for the swift passage of a reasonable budget repair bill that protects education, health care, local services, and job creation - programs and priorities that support Wisconsin's everyday citizens.
