The Hmong American Friendship Association Inc., is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Southeast Asian Refugee families in the Greater Milwaukee area by promoting self sufficiency and the preservation of our cultural heritage.

Our goals are to:

  • help families become healthy and self-sufficient
  • preserve and promote our cultural heritage
  • help children learn and play
  • prepare young people for work
  • foster an appreciation of our cultural heritage
  • assist families in overcoming barriers to growth and nurturance
  • help workers secure employment
  • overcome hunger through the farmer’s market and food pantry
  • help families buy homes and make them lead safe
  • bring medical care to those isolated from health systems
  • assist refugees in becoming citizens
  • pay heating bills and provide information about utility programs
  • provide translation and referral services
  • support and honor our elderly population
