[edit] Where Do Progressives Stand?
- Against the War from the start, progressives maintain that the Bush Administration lied about the threat posed by Iraq and rushed the country toward a costly, unnecessary war.
- A lack of proper planning, leadership, and judgment on the part of the Bush Administration led to a terribly mismanaged war effort that failed to provide adequate security for the people of Iraq, causing excessive violence and a lack of daily living necessities.
- Now, as American forces find themselves caught in the middle of a civil war, progressives fight for an end to this war as soon as possible.
